Here are a number of different ways you can use to see where Songa is:
1. Live updates from Songa
We are currently testing the sending of our basic navigation data directly from the boat to a server, via Starlink. This all happens in real-time without any input from us and uses a product from Yacht Devices to collect and upload the data to our web page on the Yacht Devices cloud, as long as we have our Starlink system turned on. We send an update every 15 minutes.

2. View our route using No Foreign Land
We record our position on an app called No Foreign Land. This is updated manually and provides a record of where Songa has been.

3. Live updates using AIS
Installed on Songa is a class B AIS (automatic identification system) which is used globally for reporting a ship’s position. There are a number of websites that offer ship tracking services, and you can use any of these by either entering our Australian registered ship name: Songa; or our MMSI: 503166740. Note that these websites may or may not be up to the minute, so always check when it last recorded our position.
