We were one of the first Astréa 42 Smart Electric catamarans delivered by the Fountaine Pajot ship yard. In this post I describe a preview of what we believe we’re getting with the Smart Electric system as it’s installed on our Astréa 42. The reality may be different, and I’ll talk about this again in a future post, once we have some experience. The rating and configuration of the Smart Electric components may be different on the other yacht models.
